Farm of Oscar and Francisca
Oscar and Francisca Chacón became pioneers of the process: honey a process which consists in leaving the mucilage on the coffee bean during drying which then enters fermentation. In Costa Rica, Oscar and Francisca Chacón encounter real cultivation difficulties due to an earthquake which caused real problems with access to water and therefore major problems for the coffee trees. Brazil was a source of inspiration because it used this process (honey) Oscar and Francisca Chacón will become the benchmark for this cultivation innovation in Costa Rica.
