Our history

Root Coffee

It is the result of a meeting between Ross and Jeanny, both passionate about coffee, healthy, organic and local food.

For the little story

Ross, a former rugby player, converted into a roaster and barista, graduating from "The London School Of Coffee" in London. It was during his meeting with Jeanny Busquet, his companion, trainer in Agroecology that he decided to create an offer around organic specialty coffee, healthy and sustainable food.

They have opened a Boutique Torrefaction Workshop in the Lake Geneva basin in Douvaine as well as a Coffee Truck: "Le Racine Coffee", a real mobile Coffee Shop where people can come and taste delicious coffees and tasty healthy and living products. All products come from organic farming and short circuits.

Philosophy of our roasting

Our specialty coffees are carefully chosen, tasted and roasted with an artisanal method of light roasting in order to highlight the aromatic palette of the coffee and its terroir.

Aware of the ecological issues, we wanted to work only with specialty coffees exclusively from organic farming, knowing the harmful impacts of pesticides and any chemical input for the planet and the people who use them.
